InstallQuest

You're probably asking, "What is an InstallQuest?" An InstallQuest is an opportunity for you to get a new Free operating system installed on your computer, and it is also the place to go if you want to learn about what you can do with your new operating system.

An InstallQuest has the following:

  • Experts to install the operating system on your computer for you
  • 10-15 minutes sessions showing you how to best utilize your new operating system
  • Spare computers that you can use to learn, even if you don't have your own computer

We are having our first annual InstallQuest on June 3, 2011, from 4:00PM to 10:00PM at the Lebanon Evangelical School for Boys and Girls in Loueizeh, Baabda. Directions are here and the schedule is here.

There will be sessions for the following:

  • Creating a document and saving it in a format that other people can see - Difficulty: Beginner
  • Editing a photograph so that it looks nicer - Difficulty: Intermediate
  • Recovering photographs that were accidentally deleted - Difficulty: Advanced

In addition, experts will be available to install the following Free operating systems:
